The VPSSA selects players to represent Victoria in state teams to play against other states and territories in Australia. This selection process begins at the school level, with schools nominating a number of quality players to attend a district selection trial. Following successful performance at a District Trial students progress through Zone, Regional and State trials to earn a spot in a VPSSA 'Team Vic' Exchange/Carnival team.NOTE:- Some sports do not require District trials (or on occassions Zone and Regional trials) due to a small number of nominees.
For dates/times/venues regarding AFL Football, Basketball, Soccer & Netball please click on the sport tabs to the left. Hockey names have been passed directly to the Flintoff King Region trials (see Hockey tab to the left for details) & Softball nomination forms need be sent to directly to Andrea Thwaites c/- Oakleigh South Primary School by the athlete (or their parents).
All students nominating for any trial must complete the Nomination Form, have it signed by a school officer and take it to the team selection session. All children should be nominated through their school. NO nominations are to be submitted via sporting clubs or directly via parents (if they are they will not be accepted). First point of information is ALWAYS the child's school.

Softball (Boys & Girls)
Rugby League
Hockey (Boys and Girls)
